• The 1999 Spring League is open to teams, entered by N.Z.I.H.A. Northern Region clubs, in the U10, U12, U14, U16, U18, Senior, Premier & Ladies Grades.
• Entries may be accepted from clubs outside of the Northern Region at the discretion of the League Coordinator.
• A club may enter more than one team in any Grade.
• Teams that are participating in the Nationals may be required to play up a grade.

• Games will be scheduled to commence the weekend of Saturday 4th^th September and finish no later the Sunday 14^th November.
• There will be no games scheduled on the weekends of 25/26 September & 2/3 October. (Nationals & School Holidays)
• If possible games will not be scheduled on the 23/24/25 October. (Labour weekend)

• The Nutralife (Tamaki), Mt Wellington Skatelands, Glenfield, Whangarei & Papatoetoe rinks may be used depending on the number of teams entered and rink availability.

• Depending on the number of teams entered in each grade the format of competition is expected to be a single round robin within each grade or division within a grade.

• All games will be played under the latest N.Z.I.H.A. Rules.
• All players are to be registered with the N.Z.I.H.A. with the club that enters the team unless otherwise exempted in writing by the League Coordinator.
• Players are expected to play for one team only, however players may play in another team of their club a maximum of three times provided that they comply with age eligibility.
• All teams are to provide one scorer for each game.
• Home teams are responsible for providing a referee and away teams should provide a second referee.
• All games are to be played as per the draw but may be rescheduled by mutual agreement between the two teams and the rink manager.
• Game scores are to be recorded in an N.Z.I.H.A. Official Scoring Book provided by the home team. The home team is responsible for mailing the white copy to League Coordinator (PO Box 90-321, Auckland Mail Center) within 48 hours of the end of the game. It is important that the game number detailed in the draw is recorded on the score sheet.

• Entries are to be on the attached entry form.
• The closing date for entries is 20^th August 1999. No late entries will be accepted.
• The entry fee is $20 per team.
• A refundable bond of $100 is required from each Club to cover rink fees in the event of a "no show" by a club team. In the event that this occurs the bond must be topped up immediately.
• To cover rink fees an admission fees of $4.00 per player & $2.00 per spectator over the age of 12 will be charged at the rink for each game.
• One Manager, one Coach & one Scorer for each team will admit free.
• All referees will be admitted free.

• A draw will be published on the event web site as soon as possible after the close of entries, and not later than the 30^th August 1999.

• Game results and league progress results will be published on the event web-site as soon as possible after they become available.

• A win will be awarded 3 points, a draw 2 points, a loss 1 point, and a no show 0 points.
• Ties will be resolved in favor of the team than beat the other when the tied teams met. If that fails to resolve a tie then the tie will be resolved in favor of the team with the best ratio of goals scored for and against over all games.

• A prize giving will be held at 4.00pm Sunday 14^th November at a venue to be arranged.
• Prizes will be awarded to the 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd placed teams in each grade.
