	IIHF Inline Hockey World Championships Slovakia 21st - 29th June 2008 The New Zealand Open team left New Zealand on June 14 for Bratislava, Slovakia. They are having a week of training camps and 2 games against Slovakian teams as a build up for the event commencing with their first game against Canada on June 22. The event website is here. New Zealand convincingly won the Oceania's winning seven of the eight grades.
 

New Zealand U16's celebrate their 3-0 gold medal victory over Australia. 14/4/2008 The New Zealand Senior Mens team to compete in the Mens World Championships in Slovakia and the 18U, and 18U Womens teams to compete in the AAU Junior Olympics and the FIRS Junior Worlds - Philadelphia in June are announced here.

 

07/04/2008  The N.Z.I.H.A. Annual General Meeting is to be held in the Awhina Room, Caccia-Birch House, 130 Te Awe Awe Street, Palmerston North at 10:00am on Saturday 19th April. 2008. 07/04/2008 The N.Z.I.H.A. is pleased to advise that the I.I.H.F. has invited Daniel Christie to officiate at the Men's World Championships in Slovakia in June this year. This is a well deserved honour of Daniel.

Lower win the Inter-Regional trophy for 2007 with Central second and Northern third.

 

The 2007 Inter-Regional Championships were held in Nelson 19th - 22nd October 2007 (Labour Weekend). This is the first time the event has been held in the South Island.
